Body
Microsoft Teams is Central College’s enterprise standard tool for internal and external calling.
With Teams you can connect with an internal colleague via easy, click-to-call functionality without having to dial a phone number. You can also dial external parties using the keypad or by finding a name saved in your contacts.
Whenever you are in Microsoft Teams, you can start a call with someone (or a group of people) several ways. This guide will orient you to the Calls view in Teams and show you how to make and receive calls, check your Teams voicemail and more.
Phone or Contacts View
Move between Phone view and Contacts view to manage the information about contact you interact with via Teams chat, meetings, and calls.
History
List of past calls (including missed calls) you have received in Teams; use the associated available filters at the top of the call history list to review missed, incoming, and voicemail calls.
Emergency Location Settings, Forwarding Call Settings, and Audio Device
Edit and confirm your location each time you change locations, choose to have Teams calls forwarded directly to voicemail or not, and select preferred audio device for Teams calls.
Speed Dial and Contacts
Add the people you call the most often to the speed dial section. Organize your Teams contacts into groups to find them easily.
