Current Central Employees and Students have email access through Central College's Microsoft 365 license. Email is read through Microsoft Outlook.
Although students and employees use a slightly different email syntax, they work the same way.
- Employee email address is last name, first initial followed by @central.edu (Bob White = whiteb@central.edu)
- Student email address is your last name, first initial, plus a number followed by @central.edu (Jane Doe = doej1@central.edu)
Central uses email for official communications, and you must check your Central email account regularly. Your email can be accessed from your computer, a campus computer lab, or from any device. User also need to change their password annually for continued access.
Central College owned computers have it installed.
Students can download it from office.com, sign in using your Central College credentials
How Do I Access It?
Web access - type in the URL: mail.central.edu or go to my.Central.edu and select Microsoft 365 email
Desktop app - students downloaded it from office.com
Mobile devices - Central ITS recommends downloading Microsoft Outlook from the Apple Store or Google Play.
