Overview
Microsoft Windows is the Operating System (OS) software that allows users to interact with the computer, tablet or other computing device. Its a graphical interface that allows users to interact with the hardware.
Driver files, also known as device drivers, are software programs that allow a computer's operating system (OS) to communicate with hardware devices. They act as translators, allowing different operating systems and devices to communicate with each other.
**Updates are important to keep computers running smoothly.
How To
Windows Update:
- Open Settings on the computer
- Click on Windows Updates in the bottom left column
- Click Check for updates
Driver Updates:
- Search the computer for Dell Command Update
- Click on Check and let any updates install
- OR if the Dell Command pop-up window appears, click Install
